About Meagan
Music and theater have always been Meagan’s passion. Performing since the age of five, she was a lead performer and conductor in various high school and college performances, and was selected as an undergraduate to participate in her university’s honors choir and theater company. She has been cast in several Broadway shows and Opera performances and has performed in venues across the United States. She has performed in such productions as The Music Man, Seusical, Anything Goes, Bye Bye Birdie, A Chorus Line, Marry Poppins, The Christmas Letter, Hello Dolly, Disney's Tarzan and much more.
Meagan is a graduate of the Horton School of Music at Charleston Southern University, where she graduated with a degree in vocal performance and a minor in musical theater. Meagan has performed with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra as well as the Hilton Head Choral Society as a guest soloist. Meagan’s most recent performance was as a soloist with the LA Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA. She is also an experienced competitor in different vocal competitions across the US.
Since arriving in Los Angeles, Meagan has performed in the operas La Traviata, Don Giovanni, The Tales of Hoffman, Faust, 13 Clocks, Pirates of Penzance, Carmen, Susannah & much more. She is currently a member of the Angeles Choral, Seraphim Vocal Ensemble, & Verdi Opera Chorus. Meagan is an experienced music and theater coach, and was the faculty of St. James Catholic School as a TK-8th grade music director, as well as a private ensemble director.
Meagan currently is on the board of directors for Mission opera, serving a term as secretary and continues to preform with the company when requested. She loves performing and will continue to do so as long as possible while focusing and building her personal studio. Her upcoming show is “Cold Sassy Tree” with Mission Opera, she will be performing the role of Love Simpson, performance dates to come soon!
